Tom was my first collab in Brussels, and we instantly had a rhythm from the very first frame. For our shooting location I had seen this stairway in my AirBnB listing and knew I wanted to utilize it. Tom was the perfect model to interpret and elaborate on my ideas and present his own.

Tom had only posed for one photographer in the past, but he’s done an impressive series of his own personal art nudes with really unique and anonymous body studies of himself. I had seen his online portfolio, and even though I knew I couldn’t feature his face, that beautiful, furry physique was something I really wanted to capture. Tom spent years as a dancer and aerialist but also does crossfit to top off his routine to keep in shape. While posing on the stairway, he moved around effortlessly as if he had choreographed his moves in advance, those strong legs and firm, hairy glutes flexing perfectly in the afternoon sunlight.
